Last Youth of 2011

Hi all

This Friday marks the end of our Friday night youth program for 2011.  It also marks the end of four years for our Youth Pastor Chris.  Chris will be officially leaving Holy Trinity on Sunday the 18th of December and a more formal farwell will be had at the Sunday services then, however being the last youth group (and the fact that some of you don’t come on Sunday’s) this will be some people’s last chance to say goodbye.

We’ll be having a fun night with lots of food and activities to end the year on a high.

VCYC 2-4 March

Hey everyone.  Lock this date in your diaries now.  Next year we’ll be off again to VCYC.  This year’s theme is Alive and it’s all about how we should live in light of the fact that Jesus is alive.  That he has defeated death!  It’s a pretty exciting topic and the conference looks like it’s set to be another great one that will encourage and equip us to serve God.

So the details are 2-4 March 2012 at Belgrave Heights Convention.

We will take registrations from the beginning of term 1 next year.  So for now just put the date in your diary and start getting excited.

Feast Night this Friday

Hi all!

This Friday is feast night!  We’re going to be hanging out eating HEAPS of food and playing a few food related games.  Come along and hear about a time when Jesus made a whole lot of food out of not much too!

This week the cost is $5.  Same time and same place (7-9pm, 106 Church Rd, Doncaster).

This Friday: Human Battleships

Hey all

This Friday we’ve meeting at the usual time at the usual place (7-9pm @ 106 Church Rd Doncaster) for Human Battleships.

It’s like the game Battleships, only bigger, involving humans, and way more fun!

Baptism this Sunday

Hey everyone.

Just wanted to remind you again and invite you to church this Sunday at 10am to witness and celebrate the baptism of two members of our community Brendan and Katie.

They will be standing up and pronouncing their faith in Jesus and we can’t wait to celebrate with them.

10am at Holy Trinity (106 Church Rd, Doncaster). Come a bit earlier and get a front row seat!

Water Fight this Friday

Bring your best water pistol or a stack of water bombs and get ready for a night of water fighting mayhem.

7-9pm at HTD.

We also suggest bringing a change of clothes and a towel.

This Friday: Impact Night

Hi All.  This Friday (11th Nov) we’re going to be having a look at how we can better support people who are less well off than us.

It will be a fun, night of quizes and games that will get us thinking about those less fortunate.

7-9pm at Holy Trinity Doncaster (106 Church Road).

This Friday: Cookie Challenge

Hey everyone!

Thankfully at last weeks wild  toilet seat games no one died and we only had one serious injury! A broken hand for Ellisa!

But this week should be far safer! It’s a cookie (or biscuit) challenge!   We’ll be competing to see who can make the best cookie!

This Friday – Toilet Seat Games

This Friday we’re back and we’re meeting at church. (106 Church Rd, Doncaster).

We’ve got some pretty funny games involving the use of a toilet seat.  So be there ready for the fun.

Spring Fair this Friday

Hi all

We hope you’ve had an excellent break and are now getting stuck into the last term of the year.  Youth doesn’t officially start back until next week, but this Friday is our annual church fair.  There will be heaps of good food, and other fun stuff to buy, so come along and say g’day to some of the youth leaders who will be hanging around.

Fair starts at 5pm and should be going till around 9pm ish.

Next week we’ll be meeting at the church (106 Church Rd, Doncaster) for some toilet seat games…. Basketball with a twist!

We’re also going to be looking at some of the miracles of Jesus and see what they teach us about who Jesus was and is and what it means to follow him.
